Just returned from 1 weeks holiday at the Norida Beach. To summarise:- Clean rooms, excellent restaurant, cooking on display, excellent selection of food. Pools very clean, beach excellent, entertainment quite poor but bearable. Hill keeps you fit! Staff pleasant. Only gripe was mini bar not being topped up reguarly - always had to ask! excellent value for money holiday. Resort b=very cheap as well.
we visited Kos for the first time last year, and with my in-laws..... we were very pleased with Norida Beach. We found the staff extremely pleasant and very hard working. the food was good and the drinks ample. Maybe those with negative comments have just not learned to be NICE themselves. the area was good and the courtesy bus into Kardamena pretty regular. There was quite a trek to the upper rooms, but surely not enough to stop us wanting to go back this year, and looking forward to it..
We visited the Norida Beach hotel for a fortnight in July. The hotel and rooms were spotless. The food was excellent, restaurant staff good, especially Tassos the pancake boy- the younger girls loved him!!!.Bit of a hike up to our room at the Family village, but the brilliant view made up for it. Reception staff were a bit po faced, but so would you be with the stupid things some people moaned about. Diet coke was awful, and so was the fruit juice (squash), but if avoided we had no problem with our drinks.The hotel could do with more staff at the cocoktail bar. Animation staff were very good, the evening entertainment was on a par with all all inclusive hotels. We had a great holiday, and would recommend to other families with children.

I had read several reviews before going to the the Norida and was slightly worried by some of them. I have to say though i was impressed by the hotel, the food was good. The rooms have what you need, although not quite sure about the beds but that is a small gripe.
The staff were friendly and speak fairly good english. Activities are available from swimming to tennis and pool and ping pong.
It is out in the sticks slightly but worth it, u could get your drink no problem they even have a hut on the beach which does good slush puppies!!
Beach is so close as well it is great, supermarket on site. Couresy bus is useful to got o Kardemena.

I have just returned from this hotel and my overall impression was good. Yes there are things to critisise but the good outways the bad. I have been on sereral all-inclusive holiays and perhaps knew what to expect, and I can assure anyone this is as good as any. Having read some of the reviews I was expecting the worst ever but this is simply not the case. Basically the food is excellent, service in the resturant good, service at the bars difficult and sometimes slow, rooms clean although the beds were uncomfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others but just be aware we live in a far from perfect world and it is unreasonable to expect this hotel to be otherwise.
I think that the hotel is not bad but there are several problem.
Good points: 1) Food was very good, certainly the chinese restaurant 2) Beach was quiet
Bad points: 1) very noisy. Kids running around even in the night, slamming doors, noisy entertainment in the evening
2) Personnel (reception and management) were very rude. Bar personnel were friendly though.
There were a lot of british people over there and they behave like a bunch of hooligans (kids and adults). Kids broke down the play rome, parents were behaving like a bunch of pigs ordering 4 beers at the same time, very violent when there were some problems. One fat english men throw someone of his 'reserved chair' at the pool in a violent way.
My girl friend and I were given a weeks leave by our husbands, and found ourselves on a weeks last minute holiday at the Norida.....we had a great time and were glad the hotel was 4k from Kardemena. The food was delicious, such a selection...nice touch having water melons on the beach during day...plenty of space on the beach, sunbeds in good condition and replaced when broken.Rooms clean and maintained daily to a high standard. Air con a must, but shame couldn't be left on when not in room, so returnedto boiling hot room at end of day.
Big complaint was the state of the floor tiles around pool and leading to beach...when wet they were lethal, and we witnessed several children and adults go flying and receive nasty head wounds.
The animation team (entertainment) were awful, and very repetitive...also having escaped our children for a week, we didn't appreciate having 3/4/5 year olds running around the bars until 11/12 at night (no childminding facilities) or seperate place for childrens entertainment.
Where 2 start? The rep's were the highlight of this holiday, especially Ronnie, with his gorgeous smile! The pancake man made my daughter's trip! With pancakes being the flavour of the fornight! The food in the restaurant was fantastic! Especially in the chinese resturant! Shingle beach was not great, but we learnt how 2 hop like bunnies!! Sazltwater pool was gross, especially if u had pushing in competitions, when u had your mouth open! Kid's club,was not as advertised, and only open a couple of hour's, and make sure u take plenty of euro's to pay for all the activites ( which i thought were inculded in the cost of the holiday)! Charlie was ok, but never went out of her way 2 make the kid's happy!
The reception staff were unpleasant!
To say the least, and the rooms were kept in good, clean condition! The entertainment wasn't as good, as i thought it would be, with the guest's having to put on the show's for the other guest's! Up-side the waiting staff at the quieter bar were very friendly, and dimitrios, was the highlight of this holiday!
Food was exceptional, people are polite and extremley helpfull. Went with my wife and 2 daughters, there was more than enough to keep them amused. Beach is perfect for the sun worshipers. This was a holiday that we will remember for some time for all the good reasons. So much so that we are returning next year.
Not really 5* hotel possibly 3/4*, food good , rooms basic , entertainment poor , very noisy hotel , staff ok , plenty of queuing for drinks , restaurant staff good , would not go back though
