Archontiko Angelou in Alinda, Leros: Archontiko Angelou in Alinda, Leros

Archontiko Angelou is a romantic, relaxed and quiet place, that is very tastefully decorated, and with nice seats and tables on each terrace and in the flower garden. Maybe this was in fact the prettiest spot on the island of Leros that we have seen and the house was magnificent.

We were completely pampered by all the people that worked here, especially in the mornings after you had just woken up and you sat down on the terrace. Within no time there would be a special breakfast served with all kinds of things that they had made themselves: home made confiture, pancakes with bananas, fresh fruitsalads, fresh orange juice, good coffee, home made cookies and cakes, fresh bread...well: really top and so much fun, and what a way to start the day. All the time we were there everybody was always looking after us and nothing was too much to ask. Archontiko Angelou is a bit more expensive than what we usually spend on a hotel, but if you want to spoil yourself like we wanted to do for a couple of days than this is the place you want to go to. It is defenitely worth it. The service and the ambiance make this hotel the best on the island.

Vangelis: traditional greek living

Beautiful views over the harbour at Pandeli, and of the castle above. cosy room with facilities to cook, fridge and toilet and shower. Steep steps, but if you dont mind them the view is worth it. 5 minutes from Pandeli bay, 5 minutes from Platanos. Vangelis and Ireni are most helpful and kind hosts. I would recomend this guesthouse wholeheartedly if you want the traditional greek island holiday

The view of the castle at night time is amazing

Boulafendi's Bungalows: leros bungalow

We found this place while in transit between Rhodes and Leros, and booked it on a whim. It was fantastic. The rooms were big, and comfortable, with a great view. The owner, Mr. bouladendi's was a great host. And it was very inexpensive. 35 euros per night.

They have a beautiful pool,

Hotel Elefteria: Leros sweetest hosts

OK - I have to admit that we were a litle disappointed about the room, but it was ok. The most important thing about the hotel is hosts Tony and Lone. They are very nice and shows their deep interest in their guests. You really feel welcome here.

Oh, and the pool is nice too. It has an amazing view of the castle in Platanos.

We tried most of the restaurants in the neighborhood, but we didn't need to, because Tony is a great cook. In the Poolbar he serves fantastic dishes. For example his famous Chicken in whitewine and tabasco.... uhhmmmm, we still think about it now and then.
