A perfect place to do my laundry

Something didn't think of, was to take enough clothes to pass the 2 weeks, so i had to do my laundry somewhere, something really frustrating, the laundromats have been not so "pretty" there!
Especially when my favorite blue jeans terned white!!
At last after some research i found a laundry service that i could trust! A very clean place that provided excellent and super fast service, with very good prices and very friendly staff!!
I would definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

Melon Sellers!

All around Rhodes Town were people selling only Melons out of the backs of trucks parked on the side of the street.
The main ones we saw were on the new town side of the parks that encircled the old town - in fact at the junction where we took the picture there were four sellers all selling solely melons!
For just a small price you can have instant refreshment in the sun - lovely! :-)
Xanthies touristries

Xanthies touristries, blonde tourist women. Highly appreciated by the "kamakia", the young hot-blooded Greek lovers. Love stories between men of Rhodes and tourists are common each year. Most of them are just summer loves but a few marriages come out of them also. The result is the many european women living in Rhodes, mostly German, Dutch and Scandinavian. Be aware though, that having a romantic love affair during your holiday is one thing and living in Rhodes married to a Rhodean man is totally different. The cultural differences are many and it is very important not to ignore them.

One of my favorite places on Rhodes is the small village embonas. Most of the people living there are very old and very hospitable. You may sit there, taste their delicious self made honey and have a talk with some wise people. Once it was really unknown but today it is better to go there in the evening cause during the day there are more and more tourists.

The bars, cafes, tavernas, restaurants, squares, streets, shops in fact every part of the old town is simply fabulous by night. I could never get bored of walking around these streets and that's even before I start to think of "where shall I eat" or "where shall I drink" - though we did find some favourite spots for both.
