Haraki by M0B1US
Situated on the east coast of Rhodes in Vlyha Bay and about 10km north of Lindos (you can see the colossal bulk of the acropolis across the bay!) is the picturesque fishing village of Haraki. It is a lovely and still fairly quiet place to come and it well placed between two of Rhodes' quieter beaches of Agathi and Vlyha, both of which are peaceful and sandy which Agathi being the quieter of the two... Haraki itself is in a small crescent shaped pebbly bay lined by low key tavernas and apartments, guarded by the ominous bulk of the Castle of Faraklos, which was the last of the Knights' castles to fall to the Turks. If you fancy a quiet place to stay on the eastern coast within easy striking distance of Lindos and Rhodes Town, then come here. Did I mention it has a great seafood restaurant on the waterfront too - actually I did under the restaurant tips! ;-)
