Hotel by the Seaside
The Hotel Africa was not located in the Old Town of Rodos, but just on the outskirts, with views overlooking the Beach and Ocean. It was only a short walk into the Old Town.
My room was on the 4th floor, had Television, Fridge, Airconditioning, No shampoo. I had a balcony with lovely views of the Ocean. I could see the Cruise Liners, Ferries, coming and going, even a Parachutist landed on the Beach one evening! Nice sunsets too!!
The Computer wasn't free to use.
Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice and very nice. I especially liked the home-made Orange Jam, mmmm delicious!!
The Hotel was located in a quiet spot and there were plenty of places for meals nearby, as well as an ATM and Supermarket across the road. There is also a taxi stand across the road too, and Buses that go past on a round route to the city.
The Receptionist was most helpful, and very pleasant.
It was only a 30min walk from the Port terminal.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would return without hesitation.
