If you happen to find yourself...

If you happen to find yourself in Anavisos, in the centre of Saronic Gulf (48 km from Athens) - NEVER make reservation at the hotel 'Alexander Beach'! Terrible service (hired personnel from Ukraine), terrible food (no selected dinner menu - I was fed up with potatoes!), they don't speak English in the reception, no beach ( just a small piece of land with one beach umbrella) which is full of locals from Athens who come to sunbathe on week-ends, no animation and even disco! We were awfully, terribly deceived - the hotel was sold as a 4-star hotel to us.

Q: how noisy is stalis? "hi, does any one know how noisy satalis is in june?is it really over run and spoilt by tourists ? thinking of going next year but..."
A: "That part of Crete, Limin Hersonissos-Stalis-Malia, is just a highly developed package resort best avoided, the rest of Crete is infinitely better."
