Hotel Tolo.: Nice hotel right on the beach.

Hotel Tolo is a nice family run tourist hotel right on the beach.
The rooms are well equipped and there is a nice bar with a seaview aswell as there is seaview from the dining room.
The hotel also has a travel agency and it is all together a very professional run place with smiling and friendly people in the reception and in the dining area.
The Skalidis family that runs the place are extremely nice people who will go out of their way to help you if you stay there and it´s the kinda place where you feel at home very quickly.

Unique Quality: More professional run than most other greek hotels.

Minoa: Best Hotel in Tolon

The brochure of 'Minoa Hotel,' says, 'Welcome to the Monoa, the landmark hotel renowned for its legendary service...' Many times we read such accolades, but seldom is it more than marketing propoganda. In the case of the Monoa Hotel, I can say that it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in all of the Peloponnese. Perhaps it was the beautiful smile and helpfulness of 'Kaliopi,' the owner and manager of this perfectly located hotel. Or perhaps it was the well-trained and gracious staff, who all were ready to great you with a smile and a welcoming phrase. Or perhaps it was the personal attention and sincere interest shown to us by the handsome, young and positive husband of Kaliopi, Dimitris, who has brought his experiences from having been born and raised and educated in the United States. Or, perhaps it is all of these things that make an already good hotel stand out and move into the category of 'unforgettable! I can definately promise you this, that if you stay in the Monoa Hotel in Tolon, you will not be ignored by the staff and you will have a perfect holiday.

Unique Quality: This hotel sits so close to the sea, that you could probably sit on your balcony with a fishing pole and catch a few fish for you next day's lunch! Really, I was amazed at the proximity of the entrance, which had nothing by soft grey sand in front of the steps, to the calm sea beyond! What a view from the balcony! What a beautifully decorated dining room with magnificent post-card views out to the sea and the little fishing boats floating on the surface and beyond that, the small island within a stone's throw! Pure Magic!

The Minoan Hotel has been listed in the Good Hotel Guide for the 10th consecutive year as one of the best hotels in Greece.

After all that, it's hardly worth mentioning the fantastic modern rooms and how sparkling clean they were!!!

The Hotel King Minos: Very nice pool area

We found that not many hotels have swimming pools or even jacuzzi's. So, it was great to learn this hotel had a pool. We didn't use it much as we only had a one night stay. The room was comfortable as far as Greek hotels go. In the United States, we are a bit spoiled because our hotel standards have much more expectations when it comes to comfort and ammenities. Continental breakfast is provided.
