Hotel Zoe: Rave Reports...
Although we didn't stay here, we met a few people who were and all were extremely happy with the quality of accommodation and service. One English couple said they didn't even know how much they were paying a night, they had just arrived after a friend had recommended the place, but didn't think it was going to cost them the earth!!
There are 24 rooms, including family rooms with connecting doors and most have a sea view.
Zoe's also have some brand new apartments behind, which look very nice. Please visit the website for further details. I'm sure Voula would love to accommodate you!!
In a quiet location, right on the beach. Tables and chairs on the beach, under the tamarisk trees. And of course, Voula herself! Such a lovely person.

Hetty's Houses: Unbelievable...!!!!
Hetty's Houses are a fantastic place to stay. There are three in number, our's being no.3 and the last one in the row, ie furthest away from the track. We also reckoned it was the first one built, having wooden shutters as opposed to plastic on the other two.
They are (or should I say were?) quietly and very conveniently situated up a little rough track off the main road. Three minute walk to the village. Unfortunately, while we were staying, the demolition began of the abandoned wine factory to the side of our house. It was an on/ off affair but by the time we left, the work seemed to be in full swing. It did stop for siesta and I suppose it was not as bad as it might have been.We were informed that a LIdl was to be built on the site.
The houses have beautiful colourful plants all around and we were fortunate to have lemon, orange and mandarin trees in the garden so rushed out to buy a juicer. Fresh juice evey day. Mmmmmmm.
The interiors are very swish (certainly for us,anyway)with soft furnishings, satellite TV. (useless for the football) and a full kitchen. There were alsorts of extras like a sun brolly, plastic picnic plates, freezer blocks, beach towels, and best of all, superior quality linen that actually was large enough to stay tucked in!! Never had that before. Oh, and also a mozzie machine.
A nice touch was that previous occupants had left any information on the area that they had brought, so there was loads of local info.
Plenty of cats, that were a bit stand-offish at first but by the end of the holiday, were with us most of the time.
Only down side was the lack of fly screens but there was FREE airconditioning which we didn't need to use in May.
Simply Greece contract all three of the houses.
