Glenhurst B&B: Alderney's best B&B!

Our stay in Alderney was made all the more wonderful by our charming hosts Ken and Marge who provided a very clean, private and well maintained private wing in Glenhurst, as well as a full English breakfast!
There is a private bathroom, a lounge, two bedrooms and a very comfy sitting area downstairs. One big plus for us was the adorable balcony which was the perfect place to enjoy a morning cuppa/evening wine.
The island is great for Golfing, walking, beaches and relaxing and Glenhurst was perfectly located and very reasonably priced to boot. I particularly enjoyed walking around the old forts and the coastal paths.

Both my girlfriend and I would heartily recommend this charming little B&B to people looking for a comfortable and great value place to use as a base for exploring Alderney.

The balcony looks out over a very pleasant garden - very tranquil.
The breakfast was fantastic!

Bed and Breakfast: Glenhurst

After we were stuck in the fog and could not leave the island, we faced difficulties in finding the place to stay as almost all places were fully booked. The fog had kept people in the island for 2 days already. People in Alderney are extremely friendly. Finally we managed to get a booking to this nice place.

It was the bed and breakfast type of place. The couple who met us and who runs the place were very polite, warm and friendly and although being a bit sad as we could not leave the island according to our plan and the investigation of Guernsey was postponed, our stay in the place was very nice.

We had the room upstairs next to what was a nice small lounge with a balcony overlooking pretty garden.
