Makk Marci hotel
This is a B&B/guesthouse type of establishment
run together with Makk Marci pizzeria. Just next to the major street of Tokaj. The rooms and furniture are modest, rather for overnight stay than anything else.
The rooms are quite small, have TV, shower, toilet etc. There's car parking space behind the guesthouse and nice breakfast in the morning.
The receptionist might speak some English if you're lucky. The staff is generally friendly and they take cards for payment.
The rooms are on the first floor, just under the roof so I expect it might get pretty warm there in the summer months.
Unique Quality: The best pizza in Tokaj.

Overheated room....
Willing to experience a guesthouse, after some language issue, we went to the tourisme office where a guy speaking good english called this one for us...
This panzió was also mentionned in our guide book, so we were quite happy!
At the end it turns more to be a small familial hostel than a real guesthouse... The ground floor is indeed a pizzeria while there are several rooms under the roof.
Our room was clean but rather small and for the price we could have expected better...
On another end, since it was just to sleep, it could have been ok. Too bad, during a hot hungarian summer, sleeping under a roof is not the best idea...
Unique Quality: If I go back to Tokaj, I'll definitely look for another accomodation.
