Despite beautiful pictures on the website, this hotel was somewhat of a letdown. Firstly it’s quite far outside the city centre and although there is a bus stop just outside the hotel (catch the no 3 for city centre) you should expect 30-50 minutes travel time to and from the city centre. If your getting the bus then get off at stop Moriez Zsigmond kortel, a small square which has several trams (no 6, 18, 19, 41 or 47) which take you into the town centre, although make sure you work out which direction you need to travel in, you can also get a night bus back from this square, the 3E runs all night. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful but I though the hotel rooms themselves were small and ill equipped for a 4 star hotel. There is also a train line just across the road from the hotel, which has a lot of freight trains and the gardens are nothing like what you would expect from the photos. The restaurant however is quite good and is open until 10pm, however be careful when paying for you meal, use exact change or expect the change to be taken as a tip!
if you have booked a double room, expect to have two beds shoved together!!
I did however get a deal on the rooms from superbreaks.com
there is a pool, although this is also quite small. the hot tub is right beside the pool also. the pool and hot tub are open from 9am
