Considering the Gardonyi Panzio in Budapest?

Movies set in Budapest by Dabs
Gloomy Sunday which had a very limited release in the US finally came out on DVD this year and we finally watched it this weekend. Set in Budapest during WWII, there are some beautiful shots along the Danube and it's a moving story, a love triangle between the beautiful Ilona, her lovers Laszlo and Andraes and a German who is in love with her but can never really have her. The story is very loosely based on a true story of a composer who writes a song called Gloomy Sunday that is so powerful that it makes people commit suicide after hearing it.
Sunshine is another Hungarian movie that I would recommend, a little longer than it needed to be but well filmed it follows a Jewish family in Hungary through three generations until WWII and the wrenching decisions that the main characters make in order to survive.
