expensive 4 star hotel
Stayed here for one week. At first it seemed fine. there was this receptionist who spoke english, and she was very helpfull. I guess she had some time off, cause when she left. everyone was grumpy, and hard to speak to. we ordered dining for 8 people one night, and was promised this was no problem. we came at the aranged time. and they told us they closed the kitchen. so i naturally went to the manager. He said it was no problem. he would open the kitchen again. we all sat down and ordered a very expensive wine. Everyone was giving us angry stares at this time. At the end of the bottle i asked where the menu was, and they all told me, the kitchen is closed. even the manager. we had to pay for the wine, and leave.
If you want to pay for crap service, normal rooms, and expensive food give this hotel a try
how they got 4 stars i have no idea

Nice hotel on Romai Beach
This 4-star hotel is located in the far end of Romai Beach, a strip of Danube bank (Buda side), famous for its fresh air and popular traditional eateries. It consists of 2 buildings: a ship-shaped main building with guest rooms, reception, beauty salon and breakfast restaurant; and the second building with some more rooms and a restaurant on the ground floor.
Facilities are good: 2 tennis courts, spacious swimming pools, beauty salon etc.
Unfortunately, water temperature in the pool was too low for us (17-18 degrees).
Apart from the main breakfast restaurant there is a "fine dining" option - Albatrosz Restaurant, which is pretty overpriced (considering that burnt hake...).
You have to walk around 20 minutes to reach those traditional cafes down the river.
Small grocery store is 15 minutes down Nanasi utca.
Nearest bust stop on Kiralyok utja is just 5 mins walk from the entrance. From there you can reach Aquincum or Florian Ter and go places by tram or another bus.
