5 minutes walk from Hero's Square

We had reserved a triple with A/C for approx $96.00/nite, but when we got there the room reserved for us had no A/C. We went back to the front desk and discussed the problem which resulted in them giving us 2 doubles for approx $120.00/nite. This was fine for our 16 yr. old who couldn't believe he was getting his own room. All in all, not a bad deal considering the hotel was clean, in a nice area of the city, and conveniently located near Hero's Square and the metro.
Breakfast buffet was ok.
They had one PC for patrons to use for internet access which amazingly was pretty much always available.
The hotel has 2 nice outdoor cafes, one at the front of the hotel and one at the back, and there is a small but secure parking area behind the hotel.
Remember when they quote you prices in Budapest, they do not include the tax, which is about 16%.
We liked this place and found the staff friendly, helpful, and fluent in English.

Unique Quality: Very scenic and clean area of the city, with foreign embassies across street.

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
