It is not about my favourite place in this city, but about a document which helps to visit Budapest in a cheap way. Budapest Card is on sale at more than 250 selling points in Budapest: main underground tickets offices, tourist information offices, travel agencies and hotels. The pros of having the CARD are: unlimited travel on public transport, free admission to 55 museums and several sights, sigthseeing for half price, reduced price tickets for cultural and folklore programmes, discounts in shops, restaurants and thermal baths, reduction at the airport minibus, car rental services, sport facilities and many other. The CARD is valid for an adult plus a child under 14 years. It costs about 3000HUF, but the price depends on the lenght of your journey. Two-days card is a bit cheaper than a card for 3 days.
