    Some of my friends stayed here and they liked it. For the price you pay, you get very decent service, pool entrance, breakfast and the transportation is excellent (5 min walk to tram #4,6).

    Prices for high season 2005
    42€ per single room with shower
    53€ per double room with shower
    116€ per apartman

    Prices include the taxes, a continental breakfast and free entrance to the swimming pool (once per a day), minibar, TV and telephone.

  • Directions: If you come thru the Margit Bridge from Pest to Buda, look right and you will see the swimming pool about 500 metres from the Bridge.

    Hotel Csaszar - Not so good - Rooms were very small, electricity cards for AC. Nice big pool if you really like swimming laps or playing water polo. The front desk sold internet cards that seemed to expire very quickly (a 60 minute card would last 30-45 minutes).

    The location was in a decent area but it was a long hike to the subway depot...the is a very close tram stop though.

    Overall...this is a good hotel for the budget traveller. If you are looking for any type of luxury or convenience...look elsewhere.

    Room views of the neighborhood were ok. The hallway views of the pool were great. There was a very nice breakfast area on the 1st (2nd American) floor.
