Peacefull friendly Hotel
Spacious rooms in peaceful location in the financial district, pleasant staff, good for groups as our triple room was very nice,
Unique Quality: Old hotel with high celings but with modern spacious bathrooms with decent size showers, rooms situated around courtyards, breakfast served in a cellar bar.

It is near the Parliament.
You can look some online agent on internet it may be better.

I meant such an expensive hotel MUST be clean. So it's really clean, with my standards (that are average) at least. Have no idea about yours.

maybe you understood the wrong hotel... maybe there was a misunderstanding for which hotel i was speaking about... ???

Well, I actually sleep at hotels or apartements for about 20 EUR/night (w/o breakfast) when I visit towns of Central Europe. And they are clean. So for almost 4 times this price, even in the very center of Budapest (where you're unlikely to find accomodation for the quoted price), you should expect a clean environment. So go for it.

i liked hotel hold (yep, it's the right one :) ) because of the price... i'm used to Italian hotel prices...soooooo expensive!

Honestly? Not in Budapest, I have my cosy home here. But I could quote you a few places like that for a number of towns in Hungary, Warsaw, Krakow in Poland, Prague, Brno, Ostrava in the Czech Rep. or Tatra Mountains, Zvolen, Banska Bystrica in Slovakia in this price category.
