Monte Christo is a 3-star hotel located on Romai Beach with its great views, fresh air and traditional cafes.

There are 2 buildings with guest rooms: main building on Nanasi utca, and another one closer to Danube - with river view rooms.

They have their main breakfast restaurant close to the reception in the main building, and 2 more restaurants - near the entrance and on the beach side. However, it makes no sence to dine in the hotel, as there are plenty of inexpensive traditional cafes just 5 minutes down the river bank.

We booked this hotel to stay closer to the venue of Sziget 2007 festival. We thus were fortunate to return back late as there's a disco just next to the hotel. It works on Friday and Saturday nights till 3am, with the worst selection of annoying pop sounds we ever heard.
Closing of all doors and windows didn't help, and the only way to get some sleep was to have a couple of big ones of Palinka :)

Good location in the centre of Romai Beach.
Very ordinary place with standard rooms and facilities.
Beware of loud beach disco on Friday and Saturday nights!!!
