Very low budget room.
We had a twin room with bath.
We visited in the beginning of July, and it was just SO hot here..Almost could'nt sleep at night altough we had the windows opened.
The staff were little helpful and did'nt smile at all.
Especially in the restaurant that was part of the hostel. The breakfast was poor.
It took about 10-15 minutes to walk to the metro station and about 10 min to centrum on the metro.
The area araound the hotel was quite

Unique Quality: Breakfast room
Restaurant in the yard
This is both a hotel and hostel in that there are rooms for 6 or more but we had a private room with en suite toilet and bath. It is a fairly new building and we found the room and facilities clean and comfortable. They do cater to a lot of young people but we experienced no rowdiness or noise. It is a pretty good bargain as our room for two was about $75 per night including breakfast. There is a pretty nice restaurant at the front of the hotel and a bar inside which we did not try except that the bar room also serves as the breakfast room.
The staff was very cordial and professional. Our room was on the 3rd floor but there is an elevator.
One negative was that their web site advertised laundry service but when I inquired about it, I was given a very negative response. I thought they had machines but was finally told that the service was provided by the same service that does their linens and that it was frightfully expensive. I was dubious about throwing our clothes in with the hotels sheets, etc. so waited a few days until we got to Prague. The young lady did tell me there was a laundromat within a 10-15 min walk but I never checked it out.
All in all I would recommend the hotel as the basic services were quite adequate and the room clean and comfortable. As with many places the breakfast is not the top thing although they did have decent muesli as well as breads, cheese, meats, yogurt, etc.
Directions: The hotel is not exactly centrally located but is only a block from the tram line and about a 10 minute walk from the Nagyvarad ter metro station.
