Hotel Sissi

Hotel is located in a side street, 200m from subway station, near the river and a street away from main inner circle of the city. Hotel is practically new, very clean, kind people and with it's own garage that is locked. Just perfect. And not expensive for being almost in the city center. It is 5-10 minutes walk to the main shopping street.

We only stayed for one night after being trapped in a 4 star hotel due to a severe room shortage in Budapest and travel exhaustion. Hotel Sissi is a 3 star hotel, but a lot Cheaper than our previous nights option. Hotel prices aren't as cheap as you might think in Budapest either. At least not for the big hotels, I'm sure there are a lot of cheap hostels if you know where to look.

I was very impressed with the staff in this hotel. The rooms were well equipped to with satellite TV too.

Unique Quality: In the 4 star hotel they had treated us like scum as we don't look like 4 star clients, however in Hotel Sissi they were very friendly and helpful even though we don't look like 3 star clients either. They were prepared and willing to answer any question you had about the city.
