As I live in Budapest, I don't use Budapest hotels. However I had a guest in January and she spent 3 nights in this hotel. I had not known the place so far and I was surprised how great it was. Simple but elegant, very practical and comfortable. As its name suggests, you get a suite (living room + bedroom).
Perfect location (just in the heart of the city, close to important sights and public transport hub), still a quiet place (in a small street), friendly and helpful staff, cheaper than the neighboring big hotels and you get a suite!

Starlight Suiten Hotel is a small hotel quite new with really comfortable rooms; not so expensive as well, it is located in Merleg Utca (beside Caffe' Leonardo), a good location few steps away from Pest downtown ...
Very comfortable rooms, suitable for business as wel due to room configuration. Hopefully the will enlarge soon the breakfast room ...
Fantaistic staff. Helped with all issues we had. Breakfast a bit of a joke so enjoy your tea with rock hard rolls and jam and hit the road. Using the 2 day Budapest card which the hotel sells we moved through the city with no issues (including BKV transpost inspectors which were every where). Don't use the mini-bar (3X of the MATCH store down the street) and the luarndry service is move expensive then buying new clothes.
Hotel Starlight Suiten: Hip and luxurious for a great price

This place was great. the room featured a bedroom, large living room, kitchen and bathroom. It is located right down the block from the Chain Bridge and Roosevelt Square in Pest.
The price was great and the room was a large suite, larger than those seen at most american chains-- Courtyard, et al. It was laso convenient to all the sights of Pest and the metro (Deak Ter- where three lines meet.)
