More than a 3 star hotel
Hotel Mercure Budapest Duna is a three star tourist hotel located near Petofi hid at Boráros tér on the Pest side of River Danube. It has approximately 130 well furnished rooms including approximately 60 non-smoking rooms spread into seven levels of the building.
Facilities and amenities in the hotel include meeting and conference rooms, lobby bar, restaurant, business corner and parking area for motor vehicles. They are considered quite good for a three star hotel including free high speed internet access at the reception, hair dryer, cable colour television, WiFi and safe deposit box in the room. The only amenity seems to be missing is mini bar and/or coffee making facilities in the room. Buffet breakfast in the hotel's restaurant is satisfactory. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. We certainly can recommend this hotel to tourists and budget travellers.
