The Mercure Metropol

The Mercure Metropol is a 130 room hotel conveniently located on the Pest side of the Danube and is only a few minutes walk away from the action with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. It’s on quite a busy street but noise from passing traffic is minimal. This hotel dates from 1896 but the inside has recently been completely modernised, our room was comfortable and bright with large windows giving a good view of the bustling street below.
I was particularly impressed by the quality of the breakfast, any hotel that has a fresh orange juice machine installed in the breakfast room definitely gets my vote! Theme: HotelComparison: about averageDirections: Downtown Pest
