When looking for the post office just look for the word "POSTA"...the pic was taken on Andrassy.....a small little post office in a corner...
Post offices are open Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm
The 2 Head Post Offices near Nyugati and Keleti are open as follow...
1.- near western nyugati RS....M-Sa 7-9pm
2.-eastern keleti RS...M-sat 7am-9pm....sun 8-8pm
All post offices offer cash facilities for VISA, VISA ELECTRON, EUROCARD/MASTERCARD, MAESTRO CARD....as well as EUROCHEQUES, AMERICAN EXPRESS travellers cheques, money orders.....

If you don't have a camera, nor any kind of support availabel at your close reach, use your imagination and grab a big trash can! This can be a great support! :)
Ideal on Heroes Square where you won't find any other support in the middle of the square! :)

The history of Hungarian music stared with folk music and it was through adaptations of folk music in compositions of Béla Bartók that it joined the vanguard of international music in the last century.
Gellert Thermal Bath

On my 2004 trip my friends and me visited the famous Gellert Themal Bath for some relaxation. As an extra we allowed us a 15 min massage. The interieur of the Art Nouveau building creates a historic nice atmosphere, but the staff is kind of grumpy.
The bath consists of several indoor and outdoor pools, rooms for massage, a steam sauna and some other rooms. The pools have various temperatures up to 38 C. The admission is relatively expensive. Depending on your needs, prices vary between 2200 and 2700 HUF, but when staying less than 4 hours you get a refund.
Synagogue

The synagogue in Budapest is one of the largest in Europe and it's towers are visible from many parts of the city. This was right beside our guesthouse and we kept meaning to visit it but in the end we ran out of time so all I have is the photo from afar.
