The best part of this stay was the spa and pool area. Budapest is known for its thermal hot waters and the Ramada Plaza is one of a few hotels that has the water on their premises.
There were two smaller pools that had very warm water, a large lap pool and a good hot tub. We also enjoyed the saunas and steam rooms and the lounge area. The staff at the spa were very friendly and helpful. There was a bathrub in the room to wear to the spa area.
The rooms were clean and the bathroom was good size with shampoo and conditioner included. They had liquid soap in the sink area. Our tour included a full buffet breakfast which was excellent. They had an omelette bar which was cooked according to our request. There was plenty of fresh fruit, crusty breads, vegetables, salads, cereals and lots of cheeses and sliced meats. There was an abundance of choices of pastry, and hot meat. The dining area was very nice.
Definitely the spa and pool area were the best part of this stay. They were lovely and wonderfully comfortable. Also, very convenient, as we did not have to try to find a place on our own to enjoy the thermal waters. You can also purchase juice, fruit and a bit of food in the lobby to the spa.
