This is a tourist class (two star) property located on the southeast edge of Budapest (Pest side of Danube on the way to the airport) on a busy expressway diagonally across from the soccer stadium. It is a 5 minute walk from the Nepliget subway station when coming from the airport (there are quite a few stairs when making the bus and metro connection rather than taking the airport mini-shuttle). It is about six subway stops from the town center.
The building probably dates from the communist era (12 foot ceilings, showers only). The front rooms are noisy due to expressway traffic. The rear rooms are much quieter, but are smoking (there was no significant smoke odor in my room and the quiet was worth it). The beds are platform style with a relatively thin mattress, although that was no problem for me. It seems to bother others, and would be an easy upgrade for the hotel to undertake.
There are no stores or restaurants nearby, although the hotel has a bar and there is a basic but tasty breakfast buffet (usually included in the room rate). The desk staff are English-speaking and helpful.
This is a good option for someone on a budget, although I was able to stay at the riverfront Budapest Marriott in an elegant room with a glorious Danube view for about the same price when I bid through Priceline.
