In the pedestrianized town center, there are a number of amusing public sculptures by contemporary artists. You can spend some time trying to figure out what their inner meaning is, or can you simply enjoy the skill with which they have created these pieces.
The central square of Gyor. Here you can find the Janos Xantus Museum.The house was called "Apatur Haz"(Abbott's house)locate in Szechenyi squre 5.The exhibition presents the history of Gyor in chronological order, from the prehistoric age until now. The entrance is 600ft.

In the center of the square you can see the Mary's column. This consecrated in 1686, rendering thanks to the recapture of Buda.
In frond of statue is the Benedictines' building-complex
The church from the first Jesuits of Gyõr was built between 1634 and 1641 by the architect Baccio del Bianco. After the dissolution of the Jesuit Order the Benedictines became owners of the building complex (1802).
