Castle in the heart of town
We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. The hotel situated in the historical city cånter of Gyor. The hotel is in the renovated building of the former Carmelite.
The room was rebuilt from the former cells of monks.
We like this hotel, first the room was in 3 leves. The hall, down stairs a living room and bath, upstairs bed. The furniture’s is old but very good renew.
The hotel has a very good restaurant.
We stayed in 6 hotels in our trip, this hotel was the cheaper 70euro a day. I think is very good price for this hotel.

Stay in a converted Carmelite cloister
I would recommend the Hotel, but not the breakfast (and therefore question the restaurant). When I opened a jar of jam, there was so much mold in it, I thought it was a science experiment. I showed the breakfast staff, who immediately took it away and returned with a new jar. But later in the day we walked through the restaurant to get to the courtyard, and the jam was still out, as well as all the cereals (in open bowls). No small wonder there was mold in the jam, and the cereal was stale beyond description.
Unique Quality: The location is great, the hotel staff were helpful, and the room was small, but with authentic charm. The courtyard was also lovely. There is parking in front of the hotel, which is sometimes "guarded".
