This little jewel was located on the river running thru town not far from the middle of town in the quiet area of the city. The staff was very excellent with some English, at least enough to help when necessary. It had clean rooms, some with balconies, lots of windowboxes, TV (if you want to keep up with CNN or whatever). Keys are left at the front desk when you leave and there was always someone there when we came in. Security seemed very good. There seemed to be several nationalities there. We had 10 in our group using 5 different rooms and everyone seemed happy with their rooms. Our room had 1 full bed, 2 twins, and a small half couch a child could sleep on. Our bed also had a table with chairs and the bath was squeaky clean. One of the rooms was a little small but had a balcony with flowers. I would stay there again in a minute.
The breakfasts were outstanding. They were included with the price. Every morning we had omlets with ham and cheese freshly prepared as soon as you appeared in the dining room. And if omlets aren't your thing, you can have cheeses, meats, breads, great coffee and hot chocolate, etc. There was the healthy granola type cereal if that's what you want but don't look for skim or low fat anything. Everything is fresh, including the eggs and milk.
A superior Bed and Breakfast category lodging may be found in the center. The breakfast was so sumotumptuous and leisurely that I opted to miss the train
