Will be back soon to write some info about my trip here
with my 1 year old daughter and Agi my wife at the time.
I was on a budget...we took the postal train down from
Budapest, checked in to the hotel I booked before
and it was round 3 in the morning. The next day I found our funds
were low and had to make a fateful choice ...
.to buy a roll of film to take pictures of the total eclipse or diaphers....
.Diaphers one just can't do without, not for a minute. So only a written
account will follow of the day that the sun turned black for a few minutes.
It got cold, the birds stopped singing and WOW what an event.

Kecskemét... My grandfather's childhood place. I was there only once. 13rd of April 1994. It was an invitation from a teacher's training college. My show was introduced and yeah... it was very successful. I really loved that occassion but theres a bad remember. My camera felt down there and opened with many of my favorite pics! I cant forget it...

Attention!!!!
You can have wonderful excursions on horseback but also run great risk.
The hungarian people are seldom, sometimes extremly friendly and on the other moment without any consideration for you. Some don´t hesitate to give you horses without a good education, knowing, that this could be mortal for an untrained rider.
Here I made one of my best experiences, a wonderful riding trip alone with my husband, a few hours through the Hungarian plain but also one of my most terrible. Riding on a horse but feeling to sit on a bomb (the horse seemed to have no fulfilled education or has been standing at the meadow for a long time, it refused 4 times in half an hour!
