Bástya Panzió/Pension Bástya: Bástya Panzió - a Place Where I would not Stay

We arrived here unplanned, with two children, in the evening of August 21, 2010.
The pension is nicely situated in the very center of the little town, close to the beautiful castle, this is how we found it. We went in and inquired about the rate and was told it was about 12,000 Ft for the two adults and two children. I said, that was lucky, becasuse that was our budget for a one night stay. Could he please calculate the exact price? So the receptionist calculated it for us and wrote it down on a notepad. It ended up to be 12,870 Ft, without breakfast, breakfast was an additional 600 Ft/person if we wanted it. I said, fine, no breakfast, (there was a foodstore nearby, where we would have found breakfast food for less), but we stay, save the hastle of looking for some other place.
We went for a walk and came back 2 hours later, at 9:30 pm to hear the news that the room cost 2,500 Fts more than what we were told earlier. I said that we were not willing to pay more. The receptionist said that the price was higher, because I lied about the children's age, there is a discount only if they are under 6. Of course, I did not lie, and he saw the children who were standing next to me when we arrived, one is a tall 12 years old, the other is 10. Even if I lied noone would have believed it that they were under 6.
So, we decided to grab our stuff and leave. Soon there was a knock on our door, and I thought it was the time they came to their senses, came to apologize and ask us to stay. But, no, it was the owner, a young man, coming to tell us that we should not dare to use anything any more before we leave. Not that we had a chance or the intention to use anything. So, this was our night not spent in the Bástya Panzió.

The room was average. It had two levels, the bed on the second level is suitable only for children, it is actually two small matresses on the floor. The stairs leading up to the second level is narrow and steep, not suitable for small children or mother with a child on her arm. Not very good quality, narrow and short beds on the first floor, too, but better than upstairs. Bathroom is average, would not call it sparkling clean.
There are 17 rooms all together, the rooms on the second floor are like this, a family room, the rooms on the first floor are for two persons.
There is a pizza restaurant in the cellar under the pension, but we did not notice any guest in there.

Good location both within the town and also within the region.
