Kapos Nightmare
We had a two night stay in the Kapos Hotel in Kaposvar. Once inside the corridors were high and painted grey very gloomy looking.
The rooms were plain and just about functional, The beds being hard and not too long and no air conditioning apart from a plug in fan. The window nearly fell out when we opened it and the shower room was very slippy with a shower that could take your skin off ! But the best bit was the big black beetle my friend found crawling through her hair !
Only trouble is there are few hotels in that region and not many up to scratch so beggers can,t be chooser !
Unique Quality: The most unique feature was the dining room which had three booths in it. One was a hunting lodge one a Regal setting and the other a sky light flat.
Its situated virtually on the town square which is very nice and clean.

It thinks it is a big time place
The biggest hotel In Kaposvar. It was a bit run down but my friends who go here frequently tell me that it has had some upgrades and is now in good shape.
It has better TV than the Borostyvan but it is right across the street from the cathedral and you get to hear the church bells every 15 minutes. The main square here was under renovation for a long time but it iis now all pritine and in great shape.
Unique Quality: It has a good bar downstairs called the Bud Bar. It caters to the NATO crowd and all the bar help speak English.
