Rooms are a little small, although if, like me, you travel to spend time out and about, this is not reallz a problem. There is a wondeful quirky categorisation of bedrooms: First Class is defined by the "colonial furniture", Second Class by the "ordinary furniture" and a sub class with shower cabinet int he room and "toilet in the corridor"! I didn't check these out but I suspect the latter category did in fact have furniture to accompany the shower cabinet in the room.
Children and adults alike amused themselves endlessly watching the chandaliers switch themselves on and off automatically as they progressed down the corridors. High points (and the odd stubbed toe) are to be gained by reaching your room without turning any chandaliers on!
Rooms comfortable, TV works, Breakfast substantial and varied, staff friendly, great central location... This is one great find!
NB: Off season prices as low as 20? per person (depending of course, where you want your toilet located)
