Buk or Bukfurdo??
"A SPA town."
Trying to get information about this area was a chore. The Danubius Thermal and Sport Hotel Buk, is really located in Bukfurdo. Confusing, well it is in the beginning but it clears up, once you realize that there is two towns and the SPA town is really Bukfurdo and that is where the hotel and even a golf course is. After our visit in 2004 to Budapest and the Danubius Thermal Hotel Margitsziget, which was fantastic, we wanted to stay again at a Danubius Hotel but this time somewhere else where we could travel around and see other towns of Hungary. Well the place in Bukfurdo, just fit the bill. Did I mention there is a golf course also next door. We wanted the SPA, travel around and the golf was the icing on the cake.
