A very nice and clean hotel, 2 minutes away from the central Fo Ter square. Two very sweet receptionist ladies speak English and are always happy to help. They have their own parking garage, which comes in very handy as there is positively no free parking in the town.
Unique Quality: The hotel has a restaurant (open terrace + cellar) that really lives up to its name (Bacchus). Lavish dinners (we only had dinners there but every night!) are sophisticated Hungarian fare served with flair and the portions are generous. We enjoyed their superlative house wines and traditional desserts. Especially recommended are wild game dishes, of which they serve quite a few. We tried them all and every time it was a treat.
All waiters are multilingual - English, German and I overheard one speaking Spanish - and know their business very well. Pricewise it is slilghtly more expensive than average but _well_ worth it.
