Peacefull accommodations in Selfoss

When we traveled from Reykjavik to Hofn, we had arranged to overnight in Selfoss on the way back knowing full well that we wouldn't make it all the way to Isafjordur that night. Our quick stop in Selfoss was very relaxing and peaceful. The hotel was located out in the country (outside of Selfoss) and the views around the property were lovely. The room itself was in excellent condition with most of the room designed in unfinished (or similar) wood. This made for a very rugged look that we quite liked. Each room had it's own facilities which made for an even more convenient stay. I perfect place to stop for the night, or if you're spending more time around Selfoss, to spend a few nights.

Unique Quality: Rugged design was appealing, price was great, and surroundings were very peaceful. Excellent room and decent restaurant.
