School in Höfn?
Hi. I´m a teacher from Sisimiut (Greenland) who wants to know if there is some kind of school i Höfn.
The municipalty of Hornafjödur is "friend" with the municipalty of Sisimiut and we are of group of teachers who want to take our pupils on a trip to Höfn.

Travel Tips for Höfn
Sights Around Hofn...
The population of Hofn is about 1600.
It's not a big town. Hofn is also the last destination of buses from Reykjavik, on the 'Ring Road', travelling in the south of Iceland.
The Ring Road is the main road to circle Iceland.
This photo taken by me showing how Hofn would look like.
The swimming pool (outdoor), the bank, the post office, the supermarket (...and of course the 'smelly' harbour) are all within easy walking distance from Hofn Youth Hostel.

On the way walking back from taking the photos around Hofn, I passed through this football field.
It's a big field but nobody was around. Maybe everybody was sleeping as it was during 12 am (12 midnight ?) when I was there near the field !
To me it was a nice feeling indeed !

Walked pass the football field, saw these 2 kids were still playing just outside their house !
It was really in the middle of the 'night' but maybe they didn't care as long as they could still play...Their parents were probably sleeping !
I took a photo of them; Cute Icelandic kids.
Another fondest memory for me !
This was also my last photo in Hofn, on the first night. The 2nd night, after coming back from Jokulsarlon, I didn't go out because I was so tired & besides, I had to sleep early for another bus journey to the north of Iceland !
