A centralized apt-hotel in Reykjavik
Stayed at Apt 404.
Pros: It has a jacuzzi. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is very clean. $150 a night, which is not too bad for Reykjavik. Great location - right on the main shopping street. Right next to a hot club called Vegamox. Wireless Internet access.
Cons: Unless you plan to party til dawn with the Icelanders at Vegamox, the apt is very noisy Friday and Saturday nights till midnight-5am. (Very quiet other nights.)

Room with a View
These apartments are AWESOME! They are for short-time rent and that's where we stayed in Reykjavík. The apartments are smack in the middle of town, spacious, clean and very well equipped. Check out the website for more info.
Unique Quality: The location is fab, right on Reykjavík's main shopping street and above its largest book store. There's an outside hot tub for those who stay on the top floor and the views are indeed great! The tenant is a great guy who can give you all sorts of insider info!
