Very nice
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel and found it to be everything we needed. The room was very spacious with a comfy bed. The bathroom was very nice with a good powerful shower. The breakfast is continental and was always well stocked. The reception area is plain but efficent with nice comfy chairs to sit on whilst you wait for your taxi or tour bus. There are also lots of information booklets and maps that are free for you to take. We found the reception staff to be very helpful when we required information on places to eat and tour information.
All in all a very good hotel that is only a 10-15 minute walk to the main street and bars etc, would highly recommend.

nice hotel
Although a little out of the way, the Hotel Rekjavik is a very spacious hotel in a quiet part of town.
