Reykjaviks best accomodation
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and was recommended by a friend to do so. I would give 4 stars to this. In a place like Iceland, where space is so expensive....the rooms were huge at a decent price. THere was free wifi..and it was right in the center....bang where the action is. No need to take any cabs...anywhere...just walk. The only dissapointment while staying over the weekend is the noise. All party goers shout like crazy at 4-5 in the morning once the partying is over...and the hotel is not sound proof. If you are staying over the weekend, carry a good pair of ear plugs and you should be fine.
Unique Quality: Center of town, huge rooms, wifi free.

In the heart of the old town
Clean and aesthetically pleasing, the Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel is one of Reykjavík's most popular business hotels. It is located in the heart of the historic district of the city, close to cafés and restaurants. But really, nothing is too far in this small town. Like everything else in Iceland, the hotel is so expensive when compared to similar hotels in other countries. My stay was too brief to comment on the services of the hotel, but I noticed that it had a fitness centre.
