Good location guesthouse

The Salvation army was the first guesthouse I stayed in Reykjavik. The room is basic and spotless clean.I got double bed room. The price was very cheap according to Icelandic standard price. And the atmosphere was also Icelandic style. The guesthouse is in central Reykjavik. It's not far walking to the bus terminal and main street.
To get there...I took airport shuttle bus ,just tell driver the hotel name ,he stopped right in front of the guesthouse.Normally the bus operate in connection with all arriving flight and the bus I took was big bus ,
so there are plenty of seats for evrybody.
This guesthouse own by Salvation army, can accomodate about 90 people at a time. They have single ,double ,tripple and sleeping bag accomodation.
I like it here, the best is...it's at the very good location ,so I really recomend this place for all friends.

THE CHEAPEST PLACE IN TOWN

Yes, the Salvation army but only because its endlessly cheaper than anything else. The place allows no alcahol, no coed, and has an 11pm cerfew but again it is much cheaper than anywhere else. It is also in a primo location downtown. So, if your poor like me you may want to think of this option.

Cheapest Accomodation

First, don't be turned off by the name. This is a well-run, clean hostel accomodation in the center of Reykjavik. It took 5 seconds for me to decide that I needed to stay here after I checked hotel prices around town. The location is really fantastic, the Flybus will drop and pick you up at the doorstep and all of the tours can be booked at the desk, and they will pick you up out front as well.

Unique Quality: Cheap (You will not be able to say that about many things in Iceland...)
Clean
Hot showers
Variable size rooms available
Small Kitchen
