Top winter holiday!

Just returned from an awesome trip. The hotel room was lovely, not on a grand scale but immaculately clean and very warm. Very comfy beds with duvets not sheets/blankets. The hotel staff were very helpful and booked all the trips we wanted to do and were always ready with opinions when asked for advice. It is in a good location, very near to the main high street and many restaurants and bars.

Unique Quality: We just loved everything about Reykjavik and Iceland and cannot praise it enough! We also didnt find it as expensive as people had suggested. Coffee was around £2-3 and a very good lunch could be had for around £10.

We had to leave very early on our day of departure and were very pleased that the hotel were happy to get breakfast ready for you at any time from 4.00 am! Actually breakfast was very good every day. We didnt eat in their restaurant but only because we like to get out and see the place. There is a lovely bar with great food in the main street, called "Solon".

A: "Long distances between places and if you want to get into the interior, a 4x4 is the only way to go. Once you get out of Reykjavik you are pretty well in rural areas..."
