Hotel Aladan: East Iceland best hotel?

Seyðisfjörður was worth the detour from Ring Road. Many people stay at Egilstadir on theyr way to/from Myvatn.
Horel Aldan is the place to stay. Everyone loved it.
There are three buildings walking distance from each other.
You can't miss the reception building (with bar and restaurant , where breakfast is also served) when yiu arrive at Seyðisfjörður. Hotel Aldan is by the church (a light blue building to your left when yu face the reception building). To the opposite side is hotel Snaefell an older looking building.
Aldan is an old building recently restored, with nicely decorated bedrooms, cosy and comfortable beds. We had three rooms: one double and one twin on the ground floor, one double with extra bed (double bed) on the upper floor, under the roof. I stayed in this room, where my son loved is extra bed. Well though the way they managed to have an extra bed on a lower ceilling corner. See the pictures and you'll get what I mean.

Breakfast, as said, is served on the reception building and as a good choice, incluiding fresh fruits, cereals, several types of bread still hot from the oven (lovely)...

We also tryed dinner, which is a bit pricey, modern cuisine like, but very tasty.
A good experience to be repeated if we come back to Iceland.
