Allow me to preface this tip by stating that my wife and I did not stay at Hotel Edda. We were in Vik and saw the hotel which was perfectly situated along the hillside facing out towards the sea. Also keep in mind that this hotel is only open from May to September. It is closed during the fall, winter, and part of sping. I suppose with the limited tourists duing that time, it makes sense. Also prices range based on the size of the room your book. Last thing, Hotel Edda is a chain in Iceland so you can count on some level of quality.
Unique Quality: Makes for a perfect rest stop if you're driving around the country. Waking up to the seascape must be quite an experience.

Hotel is small about 36 rooms,clean comfortable.Rooms are small but if you are travel Ring road and only staying for a night it is fine.Staff was fine and helpful and hotel has breakfast available.Across street (5-8 minute walk)is a nice black lava sand beach to walk on and take photos of rock formations in ocean.
Free internet in room and free computer for guest to use near front desk.
