Carlow Town's best Inn
My son, my niece and I were driving through Wicklow and Carlow counties for the day after a visit to Glendalough and decided to stay in Carlow town for the night. We found Red Setter Inn on the internet and decided to book a room based on some good reviews we'd read. We were not mis-informed were not disappointed. Red Setter Inn is a delightful 17 or 18 room guest house/inn with a locked carpark in the back. We had a lovely, quiet room near the back and the host, Gavin, was so helpful and full of tips and ideas about what to do in town and on the rest of our journey to the west coast. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and we left very happy that we had booked our night there.
Unique Quality: quiet and spacious, well-furnished rooms, clean bathrooms with good plumbing, great hosts
