Atlantic View Guest house: PERFECT location!

This was BY FAR my favorite place in Ireland. This BNB was in the perfect location to the ferries and the nightlife. The 2 days we were in Doolin we never had to get into our car. The View from our room was of the Cliffs of Moher. They had great breakfast and you have access in and out of the BNB at all hours of the night. I would recommend this BNB to anyone (all ages). They do not have an elevator but they do have rooms downstairs for those that are not able to walk up and down stairs. The owners of this BNB took us into the kitchen to give us a bottle of champagne and they talked to us for like an hour about the town. They were wonderful people and it is completely family run, they also live in the building and their daughter lives in the building behind. Super nice people and super nice place to stay! Loved everything about it!

Free WI-FI
Free Parking
En-suite bathrooms
Heating in rooms
large beds
office area in room
nice bathroom amenities
BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!
Walking distance to the town and the Ferries
Great customer service
Breakfast

Sea View House Bed and Breakfast: A classey Bed and Breakfast

The Sea View House sums up everything that a Bed and Breakfast should have.
Genuine and interested hosts dedicated to their guests.
Well appointed roooms with excellent beds.
Excellent breakfasts

The situtaion is the best in Doolin. From the deck at the front of the house has superd views of the vilage and the sea. Darra the owner is very helpful. She helped organise our boat trips and reservations for onward travel.

Flanagan's Village Hostel: Functional

Flanagan's Village Hostels is a friendly, family run hostel. The hostel has a large kitchen where you can cook your own meals and a warm and friendly fireplace. The fire came in handy for drying our towels. Since the hostel is family run and there are children around the owner asks that no alcohol be brought onto the premises. The hostel is a short walk from the parish center. So it is close to the pubs and restaurants.
Other then that the hostel was a functional hostel, no bells or whistles.

Seascape: Simple, Quiet, Beware of Wandering Cattle

Nice rooms. Good fry-up. Fortunately, I was there earlier than my competition to check in. My Gulliver Reservation was missed so they were over-booked. Very close to a few pubs and a short drive to the Burren. Mary Jo was a gracious host and is an ex-Buffalo, NY native.

Susan Daly's B&B: Welcoming

Susan is an extremely welcoming hostess. We needed several rooms for two families on short notice and she was more than accommodating. The rooms are large and comfortable and Susan's breakfasts are plentiful. Susan is the type of hostess that you'll consider a friend and you'll recommend her to your friends!

Daly's House: B&B in Doolin

Nice accomidations 100 yards from Doolin village with great panoramic views of The Irish Sea and the Cliffs of Moher. O'Connors Pub is nearby. When I was there at that pub it was a great place to hear a session. ( A gathering of musicians) And while there I met Willy Daly the matchmaker of Lisdoonvarna.

The hostess, Susan, was very friendly and I was more at home in this B & B than another I stayed in. From the guest bedrooms you can see Doonmacfelim castle. Built in the 15th century I read. cool

Daly's House: Great B&B in Doolin

Susan Daly’s B & B is one of the most welcoming I’ve been to. Susan is a very nice and welcoming woman. The B & B is located behind O’Connor’s Pub in Doolin, about a 5 min walk from the pier and very close to the bus stop. The rooms are large with a very large bathroom. There is also a TV and tea facilities. Susan makes a very fancy breakfast with several choices.

Twin Peaks B&B: He is your man!

I went outside the pub with the "smokers" and I asked where a good place to stay was. They pointed right across the street to the cab driver and said there is your man. The pub was Gus O'Connors, the man was Noel O'Connor, and the B&B was called Twin Peaks. Noel was the son of the late Gus and the pub was pretty much the town hall. The B&B was pretty new, very pretty, 60 euro off season for one night for the 2 of us. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Various Thatched Roof Cottages: Thatched Roof Cottages for the Taking

We rented a large 2 story thatched roof cottage for the first few days of our stay in Doolin. When the rest of our guests and bridal party arrive, the core of us moved to the hotel and the bridal party took over the cottage for the week.
It was fantatsic, secluded in the burren by the water with cows that grazed in the front yard. Lovely gigantic bathtubs, great kitchens, great balcony to stand on at night with a glass of wine. It was perfect! And split between the lot of us, it was a steal!

Lots of thatched roof cottages are available in Doolin. You can do a general search or, if you'd like to contact the cottage we stayed in, please contact me and I'll give out her info!
It was really a great way to spend a week in Ireland and it had 4 bedrooms, most doubles. When everyone was paired in rooms it cost each person around $100 bux for the entire week individually. Not bad

Churchfield House: Best B & B

This was in a great location, located at the upper end of town. There was a bus stop right in front of the house and since we did all of our traveling by bus this aspect was a lifesaver. The people were very helpful and the rooms very clean and unique.

Sea View House: The best B&B in Doolin

Sea View House in Doolin - I loved every minute of it. Our hostess, Darra, is simply fantastic. She's warm and personable and very eager to share her knowledge of the area and to help steer everyone to enjoy their stay in Ireland.

The breakfasts are great and she makes her own brown bread and a great tasting porriage, too.

The views from the house are wonder with sunsets in the eveining to die for.

Location-location-location.
Its right in the middle of the village, but on its own grouinds,
and iverlook sthe ocean.

Cable TV in rooms.
Only 4 guestrooms, so it is very homely.

Doonagore Farmhouse: Farmhouse with a View to Die For

Mary Sweeney is the quintesential MOM. She welcomes you in..along with her 3 boys. Don't stay there if you don't like kids. I was traveling with mine, so it was great for them to have someone to play with.

The rooms are precious and you could hike to the Cliffs of Moher. The view of the water is great, and Doolin is simply charming. Have the Potato Leek Soup with Brown Bread at O'Connors (with Guinness of course).

Kids, views, peace and quiet
