lisdoonvarna Ireland
Has anyone stopped in Lisdoonvarna in Southern Ireland, It's not too far from Galway Bay. Just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Whites Group Hotel The Burren Castle? We were wondering how far the hotel is from Lisdoonvarna itself. It's just that we would like to be able to walk into the town in the evening to the bars and have a drink instead of having to stay in the hotel every night. we have read the ratings on the hotel but no one has said how far out it is.

I'm just back from Ireland, and has stayed one night in Lisdoonvarna.
Our nice B&B was : Ballinsheen House: http://www.bedandbreakfast-directory.co.uk/info.asp?id=31645 and was at walking distance to the center (with three very nice pubs)
