Restfull lodging
We arrived early afternoon and checked in without any difficulty. In making our lodging reservations, we always requested a room with bathroom ensuite that would sleep 4 people. Our stay included a nice breakfast.
The Acton Lodge has off street parking in the front of Lodge and also in the back.
Unique Quality: Our room at the Acton Lodge was just wonderful. It was large with plenty of walking space around the beds, lots of storage for clothes & luggage, good lighting and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was private and very suitable. Our room had a window that we could step out of onto a second floor balcony.
It is nice their location is so close to Fitzgerald Park. The Acton is within a short distance of many other wonderful attractions that we didn't get to see such as: St. Fin Barrs Cathedral, the Mardyke, Cork Cricket Club, Sundays Well Boating and University College Cork among others. This was a very nice establishment and I would recommend the Acton Lodge.
