visit Garinish Island. The Duchas-owned gardens are reached by a short ferry ride from Glengariff. Have your camera ready to take pictures of the seals off seal island...I wasn't ready and my pics are all out of focus - but it was fun watching the seals swim and bask in the sun! The gardens are lovely - even in early April before the colors turn vibrant!
