Hmm, may be difficult just for two months. Two places available advertised on www.daft.ie

Myabe stay in a hostel down there for a few days, then check out the accomodation ads in the supermarkets, advice from the tourist office, put up a few notices yourself

There are many Polish people in Kinsale (even a Polish delicatessen!). It would be difficult to organise sharing a house before you get here but easy when you are here.

The three best ways would be
1. The main food shop in town (Supervalu) has a notice board with ads looking for people to share houses.
2. There is a free news paper called the Kinsale Advertiser with similar ads.
3. Speak to any of the Polish people in Kinsale and they will help you.

Good luck.

Travel Tips for Kinsale

Kinsale Town

by Nobbe

Kinsale can easily claim its place amongst Ireland's most historic locations for this has been a centre of population, commerce, trade and fishing far beyond memory and record. In its earliest days the estuary of the Bandon River gave it great importance as the river is tidal as far as Innishannon and water transport was dominant until the 18th Century. The estuary also provided excellent anchorage for ancient shipping which went in peril of the vagaries of the weather.

Try the local Beer

by Ekaterinburg

As if Kinsale wasn't sufficiently exciting on the food front, they also have their very own beer.
The Kinsale brewing company is situated on The Glen, which is to the right off Pearse Street and parallel with Newman's Mall. The brewery is in an old malthouse dating from 1703 and there is also a very nice beer garden for al fresco consumption. The beer is available in any of the pubs in Kinsale and I am told by my nearest and dearest that it is very flavoursome.
If you want to check this out for yourself there are tours daily during the summer months and by arrangement at any time. The beer garden is usually hopping with activity and is a very popular place to go for watching footie while exercising your elbow.

Ofcourse all of this comes at a cost, as this is a pretty pricey course! So if you want to golf here, you will have to dig deep in your pockets, as it is 250 Euro for 18 holes! Bring your clubs and your shoes and a nice pullover! Prices below if you don't bring your own equipment.

Dromberg Stone Circle

by DEBBBEDB

After leaving Cork without finding a place to stay, we headed for Dromberg. After getting lost a couple of more times, we found the Dromberg Stone Circle (circa 150 BC). It is a relatively young stone circle and very isolated.

Up Another Level

by Ekaterinburg

From the Mall you can climb another hill to the Ramparts, carry on up Rampart lane to Blind Gate and back to town via Church street. Alternatively you can do the Compass Hill Walk, a 30 minute circuit which will bring you back to Winters Hill and the Mall and you can then get back down town by the steps to Lower O'Connel Street. All these walks involve a certain amount of effort and uphill climbing but after 10 minutes or so the climb is over and then you are rewarded with incomparable views and a huge sense of achievement. I have moderately severe asthma and I can manage these climbs without too much discomfort. Obviously you could not do all of them on one day but I think if you chose one you would really enjoy it.
